The Gaijin Eye

By James Hadfield

The 2006 Gaijin Eye photography contest was the most popular yet, attracting over 800 submissions - most of them really rather good. It was a real challenge picking the winners, but after much debate and occasional fisticuffs we came up with the following selection, a visually stunning portrait of Japan the way you see it. Thanks to everyone who submitted photos, and apologies to those whose shots didn't make the cut this time around.
