Turntable Terrorists: Force Of Nature

Force Of Nature
Force Of Nature are two Tokyo-based producers and DJs: KZA and DJ Kent. The two experienced vinyl junkies have an immaculate reputation for their blend of quality hip-hop, disco, house, dub and techno to achieve great results on the dancefloor. They've both had mix CDs out recently as individuals on legendary Japanese label Mule Musiq; they've also spread their love Stateside, being (along with ALTZ) in the small circle of Japanese artists to have been invited to do guest spots on Tim Sweeney's internationally renowned, exclusively high-quality NYC radio show "Beats In Space". With both a large homegrown and worldwide fanbase, Force of Nature were handpicked to support DJ Shadow on his Japan Tour. Although their DJ sets are very much for the clubs, their production work is usually a more spaced-out cosmic-disco affair, and has been remixed by artists such as DFA's hot-to-trot Still Going.
Although they have a hectic schedule spinning all around the country as a pair, and individually at a variety of different events and venues, KZA and DJ Kent both remain down-to-earth and basically a couple of really safe guys; something refreshingly different in a scene often dominated by ego-monsters.
