Best known for running the world-famous "Numbers" event and releasing club tracks on Tittsworth and Ayres's T&A label, Kid 606's Tiger Bass label and DJ Donna Summer's Nightshifters imprint, Glaswegian P.O.L. Style has become synonymous with club music in Japan.

Before coming to Japan, P.O.L. helped to establish the Glasgow-based club night "Numbers", which now is also a cutting-edge record label. Packing crowds into sweaty basements and organizing thousand-strong raves, "Numbers" introduced and helped to build the careers of artists like Hudson Mohawke, Rustie, and The Truffle Club. Moving to Japan in 2003, P.O.L. started "Numbers Tokyo" and over the last six years has invited guests such as Modeselektor, DJ Funk, Kid 606, DJ Sega and Dre Skull to play at the event. The forward-thinking events have been such a success that he has attracted international publications like Vice Magazine and New York clothing label Mishka to be part of the "Numbers Tokyo" phenomenon.

Although his own releases to date have been rave-flavored ghetto-dancefloor gems, you will often find him playing a diverse range of music that spans Baltimore club to dubstep, fidget & electro to new jack swing, and hip-hop through to 80s groove. His varied track selection, ability to read a crowd, and dedication to improving his DJ technique make him a favorite with DJs and music lovers alike. P.O.L. is a DJ/producer who is constantly looking to the future, definitely someone to check out.
