"Rock This Town" Haiti Fundraising Event @ Hard Rock Cafe, Nagoya
By Japanzine Staff | Wednesday, Mar 3, 2010
Following the earthquake tragedy in Haiti, Nagoya's ex-pat community felt a responsibility to help the people of Haiti and raise awareness about their plight. "Rock This Town" is the culmination of the community's combined efforts and promises to be a great night, with appearances by nearly all of Nagoya's "gaijin superstars".
The event will begin at 19:00 on March 5th at the Hard Rock Cafe in Fushimi, with performances by Bone Zero, The Tomo Shagger Band, Jet Shamisen, Mike Wade, Vinnie Vintage, Blanka, UnSound and more (subject to change). Donations of clothing and canned goods are accepted, and all monies and materials collected will go to victims of the earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12th, 2010.
